Another fluffy sweater

I thought I'd get rid of this stash yarn by making another one of those (I gifted the last one to my sister). In my head, it was going to be a fluffy cloud and I'd look hip like an Insta-girl! (yep... slap forehead!)

Turns out I felt more like a giant marshmallow... Thank goodness my friend looked much better in it than me and she took it home. pfew! Now... I still have 6 balls of the teal colour, I'm wondering if I could do 2 shorter versions and finally get rid of that yarn... mmm...

Caradon Hill Jumper

Autumn Shawl

Pattern: modified Winterwork Shawl by Melissa Burke

Yarn: Cascade Yarn 220 worsted col 2453 pumpkin spice (800m)

I reworked the shawl top-down and changed its shape to be more like a semi-circle. I love the texture of the stitches and the proportions of the shawl are spot on (both are qualities of the original pattern).

In reality I use it more to wrap around me on the sofa than as a proper shawl but I really don't mind: I use it everyday and I love it!

Gorgeous shoulder line, very comfortable, I'll get a lot of wear out of it. I just love it!

Tethys Shawl - aka Determination

Pattern: Thethys by Susanna IC, free

Yarn: Bergère de France Sport (worsted weight), col Beaujolais, 6 balls-540m

Needles: 5,5mm, 6mm

I love this shawl, even if I had to start several times to have it just right... It's the perfect colour for me and it's really cosy for the aut-winter months. It's easy to wrap round and secure with a shawl pin.
